Fifteen people interested in the history of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer participated in the first post-pandemic meeting of the Institute for Redemptorist Historical Studies/North America on November 14.
Another semester of ministry at Immaculata University has ended. The university saw a significant increase in enrollment this academic year, and that increase was evident in the upswing of student involvement and participation in campus ministry. As the Redemptorists of Baltimore Province began a second year of ministry at the university, the success of the first year paved the way for an interesting and hopeful second year.
We celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Tuesday, December 12. As Vocation Director I visited our parishes of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Newton Grove, NC and Immaculate Conception in Clinton, NC to preach at English and Spanish Masses to promote Redemptorists Vocations. I was there December 1-11.

Father Andrew W. Carr, of the St. John Neumann Community, Timonium, Maryland, died on December 7, 2023, aged 94 and three months. He was born on August 21, 1929, in Manhattan, the son of Andrew and Hannah (O’Brien). He was also the brother of Father William E. Carr, C.Ss.R., who died in 1989.
