Father Brendan Patrick Greany died December 18, 2018, at the St. John Neumann Residence in Timonium, Md. He was born July 1, 1937, in the Bronx, N.Y., to John and Nora (nee Fitzgerald) Greany. He was baptized at St. John’s in the Bronx.

As we celebrate the joy of our newborn Redeemer on Christmas, I would like to thank all of you who have been part of supporting the mission of the Redemptorists. Jesus is the reason for the season! Jesus is the reason for all seasons, I believe.

The Redemptorists invite all young adults to join an Advent pilgrimage to the Shrine of St. John Neumann on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 2 to 8 p.m. The shrine’s address is 1019 N 5th St, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
