We celebrated Christmas a little early in the Bronx since most of the students headed home after their exams were finished, but we made sure to celebrate as a community with Mass in the house chapel.

Fr. Vincent Crotty, who spent almost 15 years in the missions in Brazil before returning to the States to continue his ministry in several parishes, died December 16 at the St. John Neumann Residence at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD.
In a few weeks, the Redemptorists will mark the end of an era as our ministry at Mount St. Alphonsus in Esopus, NY, comes to a close. Saying "good-bye" is never easy, but we’re reminded of the many thousands of souls who shared the Mount with us over the years.
