The Death of His Holiness Pope Francis

The Redemptorists of the Baltimore Province join with the entire Redemptorist Family across the globe, along with people throughout the whole world, in mourning the death of our Holy Father, Pope Francis. We thank God for his ministry of love and mercy and for his abiding concern that the dignity of every human being and all creation be revered as a gift and blessing of the One through whom we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28). Let us rejoice, even in the sadness of our loss, in our Holy Father's new life of rest and peace in Jesus Christ, the Resurrection and the Life.  

Eternal rest, grant unto your servant, Pope Francis, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen.
