Happy Feast Day! Today the Redemptorists celebrate the feast of one of their great confreres — St. Gerard Majella, a Redemptorist brother who, though he died at the young age of 29, already had a reputation for saintliness. Made a saint in 1904, he is the patron of mothers, especially during pregnancy, as well as the patron of couples hoping to conceive a child.
Today’s daily homily in English includes a reflection on St. Gerard, but if you’d like to read it, click here.
Happy Feast Day to one and all!
St. Gerard, pray for us!
