The public is invited to attend the Redemptorist History Conference Oct. 4-8 at San Alfonso Retreat House in Long Branch, NJ. The conference is held every three years and is sponsored by the Institute for Redemptorist Historical Studies of North America.
Topics include the Redemptorists’ influence on other religious orders, the story of a Redemptorist brother who became a world-famous artist, St. John Neumann’s intervention in a murder case and a talk on the origins of Redemptorist ministry to the deaf and hearing impaired.
