Catholic Schools Week is celebrated in the U.S. every year beginning on the last Sunday in January. This year’s festivities run from January 29 to February 5, and the celebrations in our eight parish schools include everything from science fairs and spelling bees to special lunches and treats for the students.
St. John Neumann made Catholic education a high priority in his ministry, and especially during his time as bishop of Philadelphia. We ask for his special prayers for our schools, and for all Catholic schools, that they continue to excel in their mission to share not just knowledge, but the Good News of God’s love.
