Book of Redemptorist meal prayers to be published in English

"Blessed be your name forever, O Lord. May you be blessed through this food that you grant us this day. May it make us humble and courageous servants of the Gospel of Christ, the Redeemer and Lord, the head and model of a renewed humanity. He lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit forever and ever."

This is just one of the meal prayers, written by former Vicar General Serafino Fiore, that will be included in a new booklet published by Liguori Publications this summer. The prayers are based on the Redemptorist Constitutions and Statutes, the documents that govern the priests’ and brothers’ way of life.

The prayers are also available in several languages on the Redemptorist General Government Web site.
