Our Journey Through Lent

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

The Redemptorists of the Baltimore Province are delighted to share our
2025 Booklet of Lenten Reflections with you. We hope and pray that you
will find these meditations helpful as you journey these holy days of Lent
towards Holy Week and the joy of Easter.

As we journey this Lenten season of grace, the Church once again invites
us to return to God with our whole hearts through prayer, fasting, and
almsgiving. Our prayerful pondering of the daily Scriptures and the
reflections for each day of Lent draws us all into a deeper awareness of
God’s presence within and all around us. We hope that you embrace this
time of quiet meditation as a fast from the noise and hecticness of life and
experience it as a graced opportunity to feast on the Word - in a stillness
that grounds you in the peace and love of Christ, Our Holy Redeemer.
We pray, too, that your experience of the love of Christ will inspire you to
generously share the gifts of your time, talents, and treasures for the glory
of God and for peace and good for all of God’s people.

So, please create some space in your day to spend sacred time with
this little booklet for your 2025 Lenten journey! Let it be your helpful
companion all along your way in this season of grace, so that new life,
deep peace, and immense joy might be the blessings you experience unto
the full at Easter!

Be assured of our grateful prayers for you and for the gift you are to our

Nuestra jornada durante la Cuaresma

Queridos Hermanos y Hermanas en Cristo:

Los Redentoristas de la Provincia de Baltimore se complacen en compartir

con ustedes nuestro 2025 Cuaderno de Reflexiones Cuaresmales.
Esperamos y rezamos para que estas meditaciones les sean útiles en su
camino durante estos días de Cuaresma hacia la Semana Santa y la alegría
de la Pascua.

En este tiempo de gracia cuaresmal, la Iglesia nos invita una vez más a
volver a Dios con todo nuestro corazón a través de la oración, el ayuno
y la limosna. Nuestra meditación orante de las Escrituras diarias y de las
reflexiones para cada día de Cuaresma nos lleva a todos a una conciencia
más profunda de la presencia de Dios dentro de nosotros y a nuestro
alrededor. Esperamos que acojan este tiempo de meditación silenciosa
como un ayuno del ruido y el ajetreo de la vida y lo experimenten como
una oportunidad de gracia para deleitarse con la Palabra, en una quietud
que les fundamenta en la paz y el amor de Cristo, Nuestro Santo Redentor.
Rezamos también para que su experiencia del amor de Cristo les inspire a
compartir generosamente los dones de su tiempo, talentos y tesoros para la
gloria de Dios y para la paz y el bien de todo el pueblo de Dios.

Así que, por favor, haz un hueco en tu día para dedicar tiempo sagrado a
este librito para tu viaje de Cuaresma de 2025. Que sea tu compañero de
camino en este tiempo de gracia, para que la vida nueva, la paz profunda
y la alegría inmensa sean las bendiciones que experimentes plenamente en
Pascua.
