Baltimore Provincial Patrick Woods was the celebrant and homilist:
Today, at this memorial Mass, we come to pray and remember the deceased Redemptorists and Redemptoristines who were part of our lives. We pray that God free them from any stain of sin and bring them to himself for the eternal life that he has promised them. This Mass is a powerful act of faith; we believe that the dead are alive. They are before the face of God and they are still loving and caring for us. Their lives have not ended with death, but have moved to a newer reality that is beyond our comprehension.
