Students from across North America gathered at the Redemptorist Retreat Center in Oconomowoc, WI last week for a time of prayer, study and play. More than 75 Redemptorists representing the Provinces of Baltimore, Denver, Edmonto-Toronto, Yorkton, and the Vietnam Ex-Patriam participated.

With the end of the academic year, our students will soon begin their summer pastoral assignments, working alongside fellow Redemptorist missionaries in parishes and rural areas serving the poor and most abandoned.

On Thursday, June 6, Deacon Elton Letang (top right), who has been ministering in Trinidad, will be ordained in his home country of Dominica.

Both men will be assigned to missions within the Redemptorists’ English-speaking Region of the Caribbean, which includes the islands of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dominica, St. Lucia, and Trinidad.
